If you read our story, you know that God brought Brenda and I together through this Nursing Home Ministry. If I had not agreed to minister at Corinth Rehabilitation Suites in 2019 I would have not met Brenda. So this nursing home ministry is near and dear to our hearts. It is one of the most fulfilling things we have ever done. We go to five different facilities weekly, and we go to various other facilities when we are invited if we have time on our schedule. So far we have been to 13 different Senior Living Facilities. Everywhere we go we lift up the people we have come to think of as family. Everywhere we go we lift up the people who have the tremendously hard job of caring for them. Everywhere we go, we have a blast!
Brenda
What a true blessing God brought to me when I least expected it. Of course, that’s how He works. Gene came to Corinth with that kind heart and beautiful voice, singing the old hymns and praising and worshiping with everyone. They all fell in love with Gene, including me. We love going to the nursing facilities. The people we minister to tell us we are the highlight of their week. I’m not sure who gets more joy, them or us. We consider each and every one of them family, and we pray for them every day. They are precious to us.

Gene’s landscaping business has been overtaken by our ministries, leaving him only a couple of days a week for work. The ministries are where our hearts are, and it is our desire (Delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4) to close the landscaping business and go about the work God has given us full time. Please consider partnering with us financially and in prayer to make this a reality.
